Laser welding solves problems caused by traditional welding, such as, difficult in operation and getting started, slow welding speed, unsightly welds, high labor costs and difficult in welder recruitment, environmental pollution arising from arc light and smoke as well as costly consumables. It can completely replace the arc and GMAW YAG welding especially when welding nonferrous metals.
Small in Size, Easy to Move
FMW optical fiber laser welding machine is smaller in size (1300*800*1206mm) because the laser device, water tank and control parts are integrated together. Wobble handheld swing welding head is light in weight and flexible in operation. Welders feel no tired after a long work. The top pull-push handle and bottom universal casters (lockable) will be more convenient for users. 5m/8m optical fiber cable enables long-distance welding.

With 100 times of laser energy density, welding efficiency will be improved by 3+ times, improving productivity, lowering costs per product and saving two skilled workers and one polishing operator. High-quality Welding and Firm Welds
Welds are sightly with smooth transition but no fish scale under working mode of continuous laser. Welding samples are less affected by welding heat. Yellowing and blacking area on both sides of welds is relatively small. With little deformation and smooth surface, there is no need for further polishing, saving labor and time costs. Welding strength of some metals is even higher than parent metal. The tensile strength is generally high.
Low Use and Maintenance Costs
The electro-optical conversion rate of continuous laser device is as high as above 45%, which is 15 times that of solid YAG laser (3%), and its power stability is ±0.5%; there is no optical lens in resonant cavity, and pump source can last for over 100000h, basically maintenance-free.
Further Upgrade in Machine Configuration
We cooperate with IPG and domestic laser giant, Raycus to develop special welding laser device. Its size and weight are reduced by 40% and 50% respectively. Transmission cable joint has good flexibility and better laser beam quality, but lighter in weight.
